About Edison

Edison offers full-day kindergarten, along with two full-day PEEP (Great Start Readiness Program for 4 year olds) classrooms, to develop the foundational skills for a successful education. There is a building-wide focus on what it means to be “college ready” and at every grade level students are learning valuable tools that will help them take full advantage of The Kalamazoo Promise. Edison has many community organizations that help raise and support student achievement including Kalamazoo Communities In Schools. Students and families also have access to counseling services. Edison students have additional opportunities to learn at the 21st Century After School Program, which is on site.
