At Edison, we follow "Triple A" Expectations

Achievement

Attitude

Students have the opportuity to earn AAA tickets when they are following the AAA expectations throughout the school day. When a student earns a AAA ticket, they will be entered in a drawing that happens in the office each morning. Students receive a small prize if their ticket is pulled.

Attendance

Attendance plays a crucial role in a student's educational experience.

Consistent attendance is linked to improved academic performance. Students who are present in class are more likely to grasp key concepts, keep up with assignments, and receive immediate support from their teachers when they encounter challenges.

In addition to academic benefits, regular attendance contributes to a sense of belonging within the school community.

Golden Tickets:
Students who have 100% attendance in a week will receive a Golden Ticket for the Golden Ticket drawing at the end of each semester.

Random Attendance Days:
All students in attendance will receive an incentive.

Monthly Incentives:
Each month all students with 100% attendance for that month will participate in an incentive (pizza, extra recess, ice cream, etc.).

We will be tracking our building wide attendance and celebrate when we meet specific benchmarks.

Attendance

A “Triple A” (AAA) attitude for students supports a positive learning environment.

It begins with respect—showing consideration for teachers, classmates, and the school community. This means listening when others are speaking, valuing diverse opinions, and treating everyone with kindness.

Attitude is also characterized by the ability to get along with others. This involves collaborating effectively, resolving conflicts amicably, and building friendships. Students who can work well with their peers create a supportive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and included.

Attitude

Academic achievement involves students giving their best effort in all activities. This includes completing assignments on time, participating actively in class discussions, and working to improve their skills.

Students who exhibit this quality take pride in their work and aim for excellence, understanding that their efforts contribute to their own growth and success.
